Welcome to MetaAnvil
A collection of photographs and videos created to inspire, entertain, and share.
Videos
A selection of videos and slideshows created for specific occasions.
These videos are hosted on a YouTube channel which can be accessed through their link buttons.
The bulk of the videos were created with Corel Video Studio software with the images edited for use using Adobe Photoshop.
Cruise Slideshows
Slideshows created from photos taken on a few of our longer cruises. We have taken a 128-night Grand Voyage (World Cruise) in 2024, and a 14-night Alaska cruise in 2025. Our next big cruise will be a 50-night Mediterranean voyage starting in October 2026.
Anniversary Videos
Sandy and were married on June 22, 1991 in the base chapel on Yokota Air Base, Japan. For our 19th anniversary, I created a video for her using photos and music. Although I lost the video from our 20th anniversary, the others are included in the YouTube Playlist.
Christmas Videos
I started a tradition of making an annual Christmas video for the whole Neumann family. The first one was in 2020, and include photos from all Neumann families and our friends. The finished videos are usually posted some time during Christmas week.
Birthday Videos
My first birthday video was for my niece Aubrey way back in 2013. It then progessed to celebrating Sandy's birthday, then milestone birthdays for our sons. I also created videos to celebrate my mom and our dear friend Lillian on her 60th. Other videos were done for my sister and our grandkids.
Personal Videos
There are other videos I created that don't quite fit into the other categories. These are mostly videos celebrating Mother's Day to Sandy, my mom and my mother-in-law. Other videos in this playlist are tributes to my father, my nephew and to the many military veterans I've know and worked with.
Favorite Videos
There are several videos on the Internet that I find myself re-watching every now and then. These videos are inspirational, funny or just a pleasure to watch. Right now, they are either amazing musical performances I like, or the incredibly funny Alan & Jerome Fox Sports commercial from years ago.
